How to Win Speed Stars: 5 Key Tips to Remember

  • Speed Stars game is purely based on rhythm-based controls. Pressing or tapping fast doesn’t secure your victory; instead, maintaining a precise and steady rhythm is the key. Here are more expert tips and tricks to help you win every race:
  • Have a perfectly timed start. Start as soon as you hear the starting pistol to gain an edge right at the beginning. Avoid starting to run before the start signal (false starts).
  • Do not rush to press too fast. Rushing your pressing too quickly, or too slowly won’t work for sure. Focus on keeping smooth and efficient movements through short and controlled presses/taps instead of spamming the keys.
  • Avoid holding the arrow keys too long. This is because it can make the runner lean forward and slow down. Find the ideal rhythm to run fast and upright. Watch your speed in the top right corner of the screen and adjust your rhythm as needed.
  • Conserve stamina in longer races. For the 400m and 800m runs, conserving stamina is key for a strong sprint at the end. Avoid going full sprint right from the start, as it will quickly drain your stamina, leaving you unable to hit your top speed near the end.
  • Replay and review. Keep practicing and adjusting until you perfect your skills. After each run, watch your replay and identify any poor rhythm and mistimed moves. Learn from your mistakes and improve your next performance.
