How to arrange a smart squad

Your goal is to occupy the enemy base through each level, collect and manage resources to train soldiers, and upgrade their strength. In War Of Sticks, each type of enemy has its characteristics in terms of speed, damage, and resistance. If you just spam soldiers without calculating, your army will quickly fall apart.

Encounter fast-moving enemies

• Use high defensive infantry to block the way.
• Archers or mages to deal AoE damage.
• Buy time with tanks to deal damage from a distance.

Encounter enemies with long-range vision

• Front line: High-speed units to close in (like assault soldiers).
• Midline: Combine with archers to counterattack from afar.
• Back line: Reserve tank soldiers to support the rear if needed.
• Tactics: Attack quickly, break the enemy's formation from behind.

When to attack and defend

War Of Sticks will surprise you because the challenges ahead are special, knowing when to attack or defend not only helps you save resources but is also a decisive factor in winning or losing in long battles.

Attack when the number of troops is superior

When you have enough troops or have a stronger unit, this is the time to focus on attacking to quickly destroy the enemy camp. Or when the enemy is weak, you can completely wipe out a wave of enemy troops and see that the enemy camp has not recovered yet, attack immediately. Attacking quickly will not give them time to deal much damage.

Defend when resources are lacking

With defense to protect your squad's characters, you should retreat, upgrade, and prepare for the next attack more effectively. In addition, you should defend when forming a solid defense, using tanks, magic, and bows to wear down the enemy. Do not rush in if you have not recovered enough to prolong the match. Counterattack strategically instead of recklessly.
